Founded by the Merrill family in 1988, Legal Solutions has prepared thousands of legal documents over the last 35+ years. We have helped thousands of clients with their legal needs at a fraction of the cost of an attorney.
In 2002, Allen Merrill served on an Arizona Supreme Court ad hoc committee to create a certification program for legal document preparers. He also served as the president of the Arizona Association of Independent Paralegals. The company owner, Rob Merrill, began working with his parents, Allen and Darlene Merrill, in 2015 and eventually purchased the business from them. Rob spent 12 years in banking, with 7 years as a branch manager. This provides him invaluable experience and knowledge, and helps navigate the financial process of estate planning. He is an Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer and has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Arizona State University's prestigious WP Carey School of Business.

We assist our clients in accomplishing their legal goals without the high cost of an attorney. We have an A+ Better Business Bureau rating. Most of our clients are referred by previous clients, title companies, banks, investment advisors and attorneys. We are able to provide options, factual legal information, and help in navigating the court process. However, we do not offer legal advice or represent you in court.
What is a Certified Legal Document Preparer (CLDP)?
An Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer (AZCLDP) is certified under the Arizona Supreme Court to prepare legal documents in Arizona. CLDP's can provide factual legal information, prepare and file documents, and provide legal options. A CLDP cannot act as your lawyer, represent clients in court, or provide legal advice or opinions. We like to say, "We can tell you what you can do, not what you should do."
